With their unique fusion of art and architecture, these artworks symbolize the artist's mastery and the university's commitment to fostering creativity and innovation, inspiring all who encounter them.First, Dynamic Green is a wall-sized canvas divided into three pieces. The artist created dynamic, modern artworks that vibrate with the youthful energy of the space for which they were commissioned.In the same context, the 28-foot (8.5 m) work in the lobby space features a large-format vertical sequence inspired by the James Webb Space Telescope images that, in July 2022, revealed Stephan's Quintet. Intergalactic, 2022, is a significant piece in Bonnin's career, as the artist considered it his first intervention, where painting and architecture merged as the most oversized format the artist has made to date.In it, the founding years of the university campuses of the Interamerican University of San Germán, the Campus Metro, and the Student Residences, 1912, 1962, and 2022, respectively. This historical connection, captured more dramatically through Bonnin's nuanced effects of moving trajectories, instills a sense of continuity and legacy in the university's community. The beauty of space, the cosmos, and infinity are vividly portrayed, enhancing the audience's appreciation for the artist's work.The last painting suggests an evocative entrance to a forest, highlighting the natural environment and grandeur surrounding the campus with lyrical brushstrokes that convey spontaneity and fantasy. These works were inaugurated at the same time as the new dormitory area.
